VTX chart guidelines for FPV pilots

General Guidelines to follow before Switching “ON” your VTX

1. Never Switch “ON” your video transmitter without the antenna connected.
2. Always check your video transmitter frequency before powering up your VTX.
3. Always announce you are powering up your quad to FPV pilots busy flying.
4. Never walk or stand in front of FPV pilots who are busy flying.
5. Do not walk past FPV pilots who are busy flying with your quad powered up.
6. FPV pilots must be able to switch channels on their VTX with relative ease if required.

There are 40 useable channels organized in 5 Bands (Band A, Band B, Band E, Fatshark & Race Band)
FPV pilots should maintain a 40MHz to 60MHz separation between frequencies using 200mw or lower video transmitters to avoid signal overlap. If you want to use a higher output video transmitter then a greater separation will be needed.
